Project Overview

520 West 28th Street, designed by the legendary Zaha Hadid, stands as an architectural marvel along Manhattan's High Line. This iconic residential building, featuring a distinctive chevron-patterned steel façade, offers 39 unique residences that epitomize luxury and innovation in West Chelsea.

The interiors reflect Hadid's avant-garde philosophy, boasting wide-plank oak flooring, sculpted marble islands in kitchens, sleek bathrooms, and bespoke cabinetry that integrates seamlessly with the building's flowing architecture.

As the project neared completion, some imperfections emerged, including scratches on hardwood floors, dents on countertops and stone surfaces, and wear on metal door knobs and custom cabinetry. WTS was engaged to address these issues and deliver a flawless finish.

Our team of skilled professionals performed comprehensive surface repairs throughout the residences. This included restoring oak flooring, repairing marble countertops and stone surfaces, and refinishing metal door knobs and wooden cabinetry. WTS experts used specialized techniques to seamlessly blend repairs with existing high-end materials. Our attention to detail was crucial in maintaining the luxurious and cohesive look of the interiors.

The result was transformative, ensuring every apartment was move-in ready with no visible signs of the construction process. This project showcases WTS's proficiency in handling prestigious, design-forward developments, contributing to the realization of Zaha Hadid's extraordinary vision.
